These bottles should have been great - big, nice neoprene sleeve and good lids. I gave them all away as Christmas gifts BUT it was only after I gave them away that I discovered that out of the six I ordered the base of the four was broken (all in the same place as pictured). Unfortunately I didn't check them out before giving them away as I had pulled them out of their sleeves beforehand. So, unfortunately, I fear it was a failure.

We used to use standard plastic bottles and decided to get a flyer for them - dammit, they were worth it! The cold is much faster. water tastes better. Easy to clean. Very hard - one bounced off my steel toe work boot and nothing. The lids take a little getting used to, they close tightly, they are difficult to open, but you definitely don't have to worry about them leaking! Anyway, I'm checking it out, it's a deal. Do yourself a favor and get it.

I have tried centrifugal and masticatory juicers. Having tried them over the years, nothing compares to the simplicity, maintainability and potency of my 25 year old Vitamix. The bottle broke when my backpack fell on the uncarpeted floor at the airport. It was stored in an openwork water bottle holder so admittedly had little protection but I was hoping the sleeves would give them a little protection. The bottle did not fall from a great distance. They arrived undamaged and just what I expected. This is fantastic! They are very strong and seem to last a while without tearing. The sleeves are nice and thick to keep the bottle secure and keep liquids cold/hot. Although they hold 18 ounces, they're not overly wide or tall like many of the other bottles I've used. In size, they are close to a disposable liter water bottle. I bought mine a year and a half ago and have used it a lot. On the plus side, great glass bottles! Good thick glass that will withstand most falls, especially with a snug fitting case. June 2020 update: Still using and loving these bottles. I broke a few by dropping them, they are still glass. I've also given a few away to others. I just received my 3rd box and am happy with the quality. I still don't know what to do with 16 other candies I don't use!
