The crimper tool is sturdy and feels like a quality tool. I bought it to keep my speaker wires from fraying where they connect to the speakers. I cut and striped the ends of the wires and picked the black ferrules which were perfect for my 16 gauge wire. It was super easy to crimp the wires with the tool. I like the fact that it creates a series of ridges around the ferrule that keep the wire from slipping out. Now I can insert the speaker wires into the speakers time and time again with a perfect connection.
