The holes in the net are big enough for the juvenile fish to pass through the net
The juvenile fish can pass through the net. So it's great that while this aviary has room for mum to move around, it doesn't protect the babies which is why I bought it. I watched the fry go in and out through the net. This gives them a chance to hide, but doesn't serve their purpose.
