I'm a carpenter and bought it to learn in my beginner drawers. The supplied screws protrude over the hinge after assembly and this will cause the hinge to fail and thus the box lid to close completely. The solution I found was to use a countersink bit to drill out the hinges a bit. After that, your loop can close completely. I will continue to use these hinges but someone else might expect perfection. Alternatively, you can purchase a higher quality hinge with proper quality control. FWIW, as of August 2021 just two of these higher quality hinges cost 37.00 before delivery.
