As far as reliably delivering a Thunderbolt signal for longer than usual for Thunderbolt over a sturdy cable, this is perfect. What worries me a little is that the cable's "connection" to one of my Thunderbolt 3 devices was extremely loose - like it wasn't fully "adhering". I've managed to get it to connect freely and stay indoors, but if the cable is significantly disturbed or even slightly tugged, it comes out. The device I'm having an issue with is an external Sonnet GPU from the Apple External Graphics Developer Kit. Case. I'm not sure if Sonnet or StarTech is to blame, but you'd think that simple physical issues like proper connectivity would be solved with next-gen standards like Thunderbolt 3.
