I bought this so my young child can safely help in the kitchen and it's perfect to use! She loves her cutter and helps with cooking. Even if I make something she doesn't like and doesn't want to eat, she's happy to help cut it. It works well with most fruits, vegetables, nuts and herbs. Some things I might have to cut into pieces and then have them cut all the way through. It is just the right size for your hand and easy to use as only the very edge is sharp. Wavy lines add charm and let us know which parts of the dinner she helped with. I only wish I had gotten one sooner!
