Review on Pack of 4 Anchor Hocking 9-inch Pie Plates by Tony Suggs

Made in the USA, get the job done

So I've had a few of these Anchor cake stands for years and have taken them in large sets. But apparently I could never find exactly the same universal ones in stores, just a more elaborate design. I love them for reheating dinner in the oven and just eating them like plates! Especially good for naughty/bouillon things! So I finally got around to looking them up online and since I wasn't sure if they would EXACTLY match the ones I had I figured I'd give it a try anyway. They seem to be the same ones that come in their different size packages. Glass clothing for baking. My glass didn't have an anchor logo, but it did have a US stamp with all the other typical warnings on the glass. They also had a "Made in USA" sticker and papers from Anchor Hocking. I'm pretty sure they are perfectly legal. I have purchased many Anchor items over the years and have found that there can be slight differences in the same item over the years. I've had things with no logo before, I've had things with slightly different designs/tolerances. These cake stands are identical to the ones I bought maybe 2-3 years ago but are almost subtly different from what clearly should be the same as 10 years ago. But you'll never notice unless you're an OCD like me. LOLMine was purchased from a Made In USA Shop seller, it appears some of the other sellers on this list are selling genuine fakes, but I don't think that's the case. Like all Anchor stuff, it's not "fancy" or high-end. It can be little ripples on the glass or whatever. But they are sturdy/strong, look good enough when not serving the Queen of England, are cheap, and are made in the USA. You can't go wrong with Anchor IMO products. I may well be ordering 4 more of these now knowing they match the ones I have!
