To update. Terrible product. Doesn't work with ground herbs

Third update. These things don't spin with ground herbs. and not just salt, as previously thought. You can't flip the tops over for sieving or pouring (your two options) because the top will get stuck. Chunks are great for herbs that are still intact, but many chunks won't work because tiny bits of ground herb (and salt) get stuck in the cracks and therefore prevent the tips from turning. Attention buyers. Too bad I didn't buy them. --------- Second update: This is important. Do not fill glasses with salt. I love glasses and use them. They work fine. However, if you use salt, when you turn the lid, they rub the salt and the salt gets stuck in the slots, so after a while it's impossible to turn it. I finally managed to get the lid off, but it took about ten minutes. Protocol. Also, I'm wondering how long-term use of salt will affect this metal. I'm no scientist, but it's not tin or aluminum. There is a sticker for the salt but I strongly advise against using it with these herb holders. Besides that. I'm happy. This is a great way to get organized. and it keeps my kitchen clean. I have easy access to the herbs I need. I only wish they had an aluminum version. I would pay extra for that. However, I knew what I was buying when I received it, so still five stars for what it is! -------------- To update. I put herbs in jars. They work well, but be aware that you have to screw them in properly or they'll fall through the holes and leave a mess of herbs on your floor. It's not a big deal and obvious, but you'll be surprised how you can forget about this when you're cooking in a hurry. Also, for some reason the salt got in the cracks and the mold was harder to turn than the herb jars. . Banks may not be suitable for salt. However, salt is not a herb. So five stars anyway! I haven't added any spices to them yet, but I've posted a photo. I love that I can use my fridge to store them. They shook the spices off the wall and got organized.
