Love this thing. Fits snugly on my thighs and stays there. I think it's good that you can use normal water bottles. I use the standard 500ml bottled water that you can buy in bulk anywhere and it fits perfectly. I think it will handle 20 ounce bottles but will be pretty tight. The front pocket could be bigger, fits my S3 phone, but there is hardly any space for anything else. Nothing bigger than S3 fits in there. There are also two elastic loops for energy gel (GU), but it's almost impossible to squeeze gel packs into the loops. So I had to throw away my phone and put the energy gel in my front pocket. If they made both the pocket and the elastic loops a bit larger, the belt would be perfect. Still good, just not enough room for long runs.
