This mount is decent. Heavy for its size. It meets my needs and I am more than happy with it. I was looking for a mount that pops out and this one pops out more than most due to its size. I was also looking for something that has more than 2 mounting holes. I made a wall for my TV to hide all the cables behind it. I installed this bracket directly under the TV. I knew the bracket wouldn't reach the second stud. You can screw a piece of wood board or plywood directly to the wall than screwing the bracket to it. If you don't have a hand someone will have to install it for you or get a mount that works for you. You need to plan in advance how you are going to install it. It is true that the part of the monitor mount is not centered with the end of the mount on the wall so you don't need to measure it. The center of the wall is approximately 2 inches to the right of the center of the monitor. You will also need to align the bracket with the bracket that attaches to the monitor as this end may differ slightly from the bracket at the end of the wall. And the bolts screw right into the frame that the monitor hangs from. I would prefer it with nuts. Also this monitor worked for me but may not work for you. It all depends on what you need and how comfortable you are.
