Review on Woodworking Marking Tools – Center & Line Scriber with Offset for Perfect Marking – Wood Scribe Gauge for Standard Wooden Pencils (Pack of 2, Blue) by Jonathan Davenport

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incorrectly deformed/shaped. nothing is centered. Pencil holes are too narrow

Very disappointed. This thing is so simple that it shouldn't be difficult to get it right, but this manufacturer managed to mess things up. The "leg" with the magnet is not perpendicular to the "base", it is tilted about 5 degrees. This means that the pencil in the "storage" hole goes in the opposite leg below the hole in that leg (which is probably there to protect the tip). So that's bad. To make matters worse, relying on a magnetized leg means that the piece held between the two legs is not split down the middle. all this if a few millimeters in the direction of the opposite leg. So nothing centered. it"about" exactly, at best.

Pros
  • Magnetic bottom: Accurate marking tool can be attached to the surface of the iron, and you can put the pencil in the leg hole, convenient to use and store
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
