I wanted to increase the size of the cheek pads as the originals were quite tight for the DLX qualifier. It worked. I have an XL helmet and used 30mm spacers. It should be noted that your helmet will let in more air and wind noise for this helmet as the pads do not have extra padding at the bottom to create that 'seal'. "You get the originals on the dlx qualifier. This didn't bother me on shorter trips, but I saw problems and/or issues for about an hour.
