Review on DOWELL Metal Oil Can – Pistol Pump Oiler for Lubrication, 16oz 500ml Bottle with Straight Spout, Black (HY050201) by Kenny Outlaw

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The nose is screwed badly. Produces lots of oil

-Firstly I've tried several of these pistol pumps and I recommend at least 12oz or this 16oz. I also have a 6 ounce pump and it puts so much oil in the pump that it runs out pretty quickly. I've used an antique pump action shotgun for years, looks like something out of The Wizard of Oz. I like using it, but it's rusty and bulky. So I was happy to see these new designs. It has a few issues. First, it has bad threads, a straight nozzle goes in with no problem, but screwing in a flexible nozzle is a problem. — I think the price is a bit high, I saw the same one for $8.99. - steel can. , powder-coated on the outside. However, they were sloppy with the powder coating, and the inside was dirty too. Pump and spout are made of plastic. The trigger isn't a very good design - it rattles against the can and I've pinched my finger several times with it. — But I would like two options for nozzles. Each pump dispenses quite a bit of oil, it's not for squeaky door hinges lol it's for mechanical work.
