I bought this blender so my son could use it easily. He has a very special diet and loves ice in his cocktails. I would only use crushed ice. Difficult to clean with water dripping over the rim into the blender itself. You have to be careful and rub it several times with a soft sponge until it is clean. We've been using it every day for 3 months and have been lucky so far. I would recommend this product, especially for the price.
