The blade dulls very quickly and replacement blades are hard to find

To be honest, I'm hesitant about this trimmer. First cut great. I got bad cuts very quickly and of course the blade became dull. I use thick, heavy card stock, but I haven't overused it and I definitely think it should have lasted longer. I bought this because I thought 2 Fiskars Wire Guide SureCut trimmers went through the blades quickly - it went 4x faster! The bar guide definitely gives an accurate line of cut - it's a lot easier to get accurate measurements than with the SureCut or many other trimmers I have. Finally, replacement blades for Style K weren't easy to find. My Michaels shop ended up ordering them. but they cost $9.49 for 2 blades. 2 blades I don't believe in will last very long. I'm disappointed. Also, I tried to "sharpen" a used trimmer blade as soon as I had a spare pack. I've heard that rubbing the cutting edges (on both sides) with sandpaper can sharpen and revitalize the trimmer blades. I got a fine clean cut after sharpening and then it got very dirty again. Maybe that blade was just broken? If so I will come back to update this review. Finally, changing the blade is a lot easier than I thought. Simply place the blade against the bottom of the trimmer in the section on the clear section that will hold the paper securely as you cut. Gently lift the blade on one side and it will release instantly. It took me a while to figure this out as I couldn't find a YouTube video or anything like that.
