I bought this Fiskars vinyl cutter because the saw was used in videos on a popular paper company website. These are, for example, rails with map markings etc. on the platform. However, I have noticed that there is some paper fiber left around the edge, albeit small, and this happens with the new blade as well. I prefer my 12x12 rotary cutter as it gives a super clean cut, but I wish the markings on them were easier to read.

This is my second Fiskars paper cutter and will be my last. I first used a guillotine trimmer which was great but didn't exactly cut. Then I bought this. Still some problems with the straight cut. I like guide marks on the board. I don't like that it ends at 6 inches, then you have to pull out the extension cord. To be honest, I'm hesitant about this trimmer. First cut great. I got bad cuts very quickly and of course the blade became dull. I use thick, heavy card stock, but I haven't overused it and I definitely think it should have lasted longer. I bought this because I thought 2 Fiskars Wire Guide SureCut trimmers went through the blades quickly - it went 4x faster!
