This is my second embroidery kit and I love it. This set not only includes two hoop earrings with trend-setting designs, but also two hoop earrings with enough fabric for DIY projects. This is a really nice bonus not found in other sets and one that more advanced masters will appreciate. I've been knitting for over 10 years, but I'm new to embroidery, but I immediately liked experimenting with embroidery. It was so much fun having the extra frame, fabric and pen. I worked up the courage to do one of the projects outlined and then I was able to figure out where I wanted to go next. The extra threads and needles included were just what any beginner needs. I didn't realize how useful a little strawberry pincushion would be until I used it, but this little strawberry is a brilliant addition. I like that the hoops in this set are wooden - the other set had plastic hoops and they looked like plastic. Wooden hoops feel more comfortable and can be painted. This set makes the perfect gift for anyone wanting to give a starter set to someone in need of a new hobby, or to exchange gifts. Embroidery is becoming more and more fashionable and this set has everything (except scissors) a person needs.
