The short end of the webbing is not long enough for reliable use, whether you use that end to attach the buckle or thread it through the buckle to close it The band just isn't balanced in length to fit properly. The long end is too long and the short end is too short. FYI I have about 800 dives under my belt and many certifications, including scuba diving in Caves/caves I have experience buying, using and making gear that works for me I don't usually buy that cheap but other reviews have deceived me and I was in a hurry to get it before my next dive - Revain Prime didn't have many cheap dive belts to choose from the day I ordered it.
