My God! Any effort really. My only complaint is that the end where you insert the tip is VERY, VERY thin. I understand this is intentional so the lace doesn't get lost midway - however if you have a lace with a large knot or end it just won't fit. The purchase is definitely worth it! I love how flexible this thing is. Makes it easier to move around the garment. I tied a coat and pair of slacks in less than 3 minutes. SALE!
