Works well, hurts to clean

This is a good product for the money but not without flaws. First, the fit and finish of manufacture is not top notch. I bent one of the "legs" slightly, which is why it wobbles when turning. never mind A few vices and a small tweak smoothed it out. The same applies to mixing paddles. They were slightly bent, causing them to hit the stationary spikes. Again simple solution. Finally, some of the welds were of poor quality. They are functional and don't leak, but I think my standards are a bit high. Be sure to wash each part thoroughly in hot, soapy water to remove manufacturing oils. Even after washing twice, it still smelled faintly of petrol. In terms of performance, you need to make sure the handlebars are hanging over the edge of a table or countertop. We could mix 10 pounds of meat, but you have to change directions about every 30 seconds to keep the mix moving. It also helps to have a wooden or rubber spatula to scoop the mixture out of the corners. It is excellent for mixing meat, spices and preserves. Just make sure to add the recommended amount of ice water so the mixture doesn't get too hard. Draining the mixture is a little tedious, but will be the case with any smaller blender. After all, cleaning is a royal pain. It's too big to fit in the dishwasher so you'll have to hand wash it, but I knew it was going to happen so I really can't whine too much. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, I only make Wurst as a layman, but if I had to do a lot or use it all the time I'd probably go for a good, more expensive one.
