Review on 📺 TCL 55-inch 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Smart Roku TV – 55S435, 2021 Model by Ryan Olsen

I won't rate the picture quality as this TV is clearly a bargain and I didn't buy it to have a great picture. for the Roku platform. There seems to be some limited quality control to ensure apps work effectively across platforms and TV models. Netflix on this TV has lag issues and Hulu keeps disconnecting without a remote. Some apps have code bugs that do not refresh the screen when the program loads, leaving the splash screen active while audio is playing in the background and never refreshing to show video. The upper right LED panel is already weak and shows a dark border in the upper right corner. The ease of navigation is nice, and the ease of typing is nice. But Roku TVs need to have interchangeable remotes, and this TV is fickle. Our Roku TV remote works intermittently with this TV and sometimes this TV does not respond to the signal at all. Overall, despite the low price, this TV is disappointing.
