These LED icicle bulbs are a big improvement over the old style bulbs. The biggest advantage of an LED lamp over an incandescent lamp is that a burned out lamp affects several lamps in a chain. I bought in white light and the effect is amazing. The 16.5 foot cable helped me when installing the lights on my roofline. The only downside is that the on/off/function knob is next to where the lights start, not near where they connect, so it's hard to get to when mounted as high as mine. I attached the lights to the inside of my soffit panel with 3M Command Outdoor Light Clips and they are connected to an Alexa-controlled TECKIN Smart Plug outdoor Wi-Fi outlet. Everyone works great together. I live in Southern California so I can't tell how they will do in the rain yet but I reckon they will. I can say that there were no problems with either the headlights or the Command Clips in strong winds.
