Didn't work right away. I have had a Logitech keyboard for my iPad mini 2 for 3 years and it is much stronger and better quality than this one. I was a little dismayed when I took it out of the box because it was clearly of lower quality and more fragile than its predecessor, but when it wouldn't turn on without being plugged into an outlet I was very disappointed. Reports of the real case falling apart are also not encouraging. I will be crossing my fingers and ordering a replacement because I really like the design. I hope Logitech listens and makes a better product again.
