DR2500D - Easy Installation - Poor Delivery

This is my second Timbren DR2500D SES set. The first was a Gas RAM 2500. I traded it in for a 2020 RAM 2500HD with a diesel engine. Since I tow a heavy RV I bought these for a new truck. As mentioned in other reviews, the left driver's side is easy to install. I did not use the spacers included in the kit to create clearance between the fender and axle after installation. The passenger side is a bit trickier with access to the rear stud as there are body parts in the way. What I did was put some blocks under the hitch and put a jack on top of the blocks. I lifted the back of the truck as high as I could comfortably without taking the wheels off the ground. This gave me plenty of room to mount the passenger side fender that is needed. On this side I installed the mounting plate before attaching the rubber bumper to it. This allowed me to access the hole in the mounting plate to lightly tighten the rear screw (see product images). Fixed an issue with body parts preventing this screw from being tightened. In order to attach the rubber fender to the plate, I had to make sure I could pull the ratchet and extension out of the fender once installed. To do this I used an extension and socket combination that fits inside the fender to tighten the bolt on the plate and just clear the underside of the fender where the ratchet attaches. With the back of the truck I had a gap under the rubber bumper to loosen the ratchet and remove the extension and base. Before installation I coated all the screws with blue Loctite. All screws are tight and secure. After removing the jack and lowering the back of the truck, I checked the gap under the bump stop. I could slide my fingers under either side. I expect it will be about 1/2 inch or so. During the test drive after installation, I was satisfied with the handling. With this release, things are going well. Hitting the usual bumps in the road I could tell the timbre was mounted, but it wasn't bad. The larger bumps were definitely felt. Overall, the no-load ride is good and worth it. I know from previous experience with another truck that there is a significant improvement in driveability and handling when towing a caravan. I recommend these. The only downside for me was the shipping. They were shipped in their original packaging with a shipping label attached. One side of the box was split. They barely survived delivery. I would advise the seller to either reinforce the box before shipping or to put the box in the best shipping container.
