I think I expected too much because this collar is so expensive. It's cute and appears to be very durable, but not to the point of justifying the cost. The little flower charm broke before I even put it on my dog. I tried removing it from the collar to put it on another ring with my dog tags but it immediately came loose. GMBH. The only reason I chose this design was the flower (my pup's name is Lily and yes he's a bit cheesy but I love cheese). In addition, it is so hard that it becomes and remains sharp at the fitting piece. It does not stay in the circle around the dog's neck. Instead, it's a wobbly, pointy oval that's uncomfortable for my dog, so I have to hold it loosely against her.
