Great alternative for those using closed style platforms
The best thing about open black belt is that it allows me to store all of my class data in one place; I love this because not only can i track progress but also make sure everyone has their own login ID's so they are able to access it at any time! It does have some annoying bugs if you try searching by different terms or locations as sometimes things don't load properly when doing searches. Make use of training logs which help keep everything organized and easy to read after each session. We had an issue with our previous software allowing us to not be able to add new members due to lack of space on server storage. With OBB we were no longer restricted from adding people who hadn’t paid yet and now there isn’t anywhere else where anyone could get confused between payments being made versus membership renewals.
- Being able to upload videos, screenshots etc for feedback instead just logging into chat rooms & typing your questions out takes less thinking effort/time required while teaching students (also much easier)
- Dislike most other programs require users to create accounts before joining classes..and even then often times those free account will expire within 3 months forcing them back
