Bad first: When I received the leash I was shocked at how small the package was. The strap is thin, the clip is large and the wrist strap is also small. Now for the good: If you've used a ratchet strap, you know that even small ratchet straps are still very strong. So I have no problem with the thickness of the strap, I know it's strong enough. This makes the leash lightweight, making it easy to carry, store, and walk your dog. the hand strap is small, as I said, but doesn't let it slip off like some of my other leashes. The only real problem is the clip is very small, I think it will hold the dog but if you have a dog that pulls like a beast I don't trust it. I use it to go through a 60 lb hole and it doesn't pull very hard but sometimes I mostly have to carry it when I'm a little afraid of breaking it. sometimes she throws herself on something and the leash gets tightened, she hasn't done that with this leash before but I don't know if she will hold it. I like the length, I think it's perfect, I can give her room to explore and when I lead her towards me I can hold the whole leash without dragging her to the ground. I was considering buying a 15ft leash but I'm so glad I bought a 10ft leash, instead I think a 15ft leash would be too long. The only real problem is the clip, it's metal but very small. I wonder if I can replace it?
