Ok. This was not the case when installed on a perfectly flat surface. I had to sand it by hand. Both metal and plastic insert. The plastic insert has a raised arrow that can cause a leak between the carburetor or inlet. I had to sand everything down to make it work. However, for the price and few cubits, it works well.
