I've given up on metal markers, I don't need the precision of a scriber so I decided to give these a try. I was NOT disappointed. They leave great lines that are clearly visible and dry very quickly. If you need a very thin line, use a drawing pin. They are best for marking steel for cutting where you have a small tolerance (maybe 32 inches). As mentioned earlier, if you need more precision, a scribe might be a better option. But for most of us that cut and weld, repair and fabricate steel or other metals on the ranch, that's great. I also love that you can see the marks through my welding hood before it automatically dims. Good product and fair price. Thanks very much!
