Review on Matador MP 47 Hectorra 3 185/65 R14 86T summer by Wiktor Borowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

I purchased this tire in the 18th year to replace the old 7-year-old Kordiants Sport 2, which went to the "eight" on the VAZ-2107, dimension 175/70 R13. I took it for 1800r / piece including tire fitting, then it was the cheapest option from decent tires, not counting the oak Amtel and Kama. I took it specially softer, since the Cordiants howled, and they were oaky. The tire is quite soft, the sidewall is thin, everything is done very beautifully, without molding and cutting jambs. Balanced very well - weights from 10 to 25 grams. As I already wrote, it’s very quiet, you can’t hear it at all on mine, only the motor and the wind, in the rain, the downpour also rides smoothly, it slows down perfectly, no skids, demolitions, etc. The rut also passes well, while on the old ones it strove to throw it away. Of the shortcomings, it is worth noting, of course, some roll in corners, during acceleration, the clarity of the steering wheel has become less, but this is the case with any soft tire. Even in hot weather, in the sun, the sidewalls acquire such a reddish, whitish coating, but the appearance is somehow not very important to me. I flew into the pits, the sidewall holds, everything is well cushioned. Over the summer and 5k mileage "ate" half a millimeter of the tread, there are still 5 to the wear mark, so 50 thousand should be enough, but my driving is not aggressive either. In general, I recommend it to anyone who needs a quiet comfortable tire, from the budget ones it is probably one of the most favorable in terms of price and quality, although it was made in 2022, there is a small video review on YouTube.

Pros
  • Quiet and comfortable
Cons
  • Reddish in the world

I have been using this tire for Mitsubishi Outlander for several years. 2 sets for 80,000 km.
