This "silent " hair dryer is louder than their Walmart POS dryer 4 years ago.
I bought this hair dryer for my girlfriend after she got too many calls at 5am from the decrepit banshee that she uses every day. I was very wrong when I thought that hair dryers can even be "quiet". Rather than gently lulling you to a sweet girly song about hair care, this blow dryer is more like a Slipknot concert about split ends and frizzy hair. I'm exaggerating a bit - my girlfriend says the dryer works fine (to my dismay she prefers high settings). But beware of spoilers - it is NOT quiet.
