I don't understand why other people had so many problems with this Miracast adapter. I haven't had an iPhone in many years so I can't comment on the difficulty of plugging an iPhone into an adapter, but I've had absolutely no problems with my Android phone. Simply connect the USB power cable and antennas to the adapter, connect the USB power cable to a power source, connect the HDMI port to your TV or monitor, and switch the video input to the adapter. The device immediately turned on and went to the setup screen. I'm using a Samsung Note 10+ with Wireless Dex installed and Dex found the adapter right away and connected it with no problems. There is absolutely no lag between the phone and the adapter. I had concerns that this adapter, as small as it is, wouldn't actually be 4K, but I was able to get into the adapter and make sure it was displaying a 4K resolution (3840 x 22160), otherwise you just have to manually set the resolution change . My monitor is set to 1080p by default. The adapter also connected to my 5GHz router with no problems and works just as well through the router. The ONLY thing was that it didn't match my monitor's screen ratio (21:9 aspect ratio), which isn't the adapter's fault, just a limitation of Wireless Dex. I was impressed by how good this Miracast adapter is for its size. If anything changes I will change my rating but so far it works great for the price.
