Initial impressions of this heater were very poor. Manufacturers box showed up opened and with damaged packing materials. Closer inspection of the unit showed smudges and scratches on almost every surface. Fan was also EXTREMELY noisy for the first 60 seconds of operation, but settled into a quiet and smooth operation eventually.The heater seems to work well, but for what this costs it is extremely disappointing to be shipped what is very obviously a used unit when I selected 'New' at checkout. I will be keeping a very close eye on this unit during my return period.
