A little confused. Problem one: Motion detection is too good for where I have it. It is located on the small porch/front door. But it senses when I'm about eight feet from the front door when I'm inside! Every time I walk down my main hallway or walk into my garage at night it turns on. It works too well for its location. The second problem is crappy instructions and installation. The instructions only talk about connecting the wires, but don't specify which wire to connect to the fast wire in the house (for the record: connect the blue wire to the hot wire (black in my house) and the blue wire to Neutral or Return (white) on house) Problem three: the mounting plate The instructions show that the wires go through the center hole of the mounting plate, but the center hole is large enough to accommodate the back bar and the light Extra clearance at one point at the center wire hole .
