Best AV accessories didn't suit me

I have a Hauppauge USB tuner and it comes with a small tabletop antenna. I threw the cable out the window, put the antenna on the table and everything worked. Since the antenna was made for indoor use, I decided to try something for outdoor use, so I tried the "Magic Stick". the few that remained were sporadic. I turned the little table antenna back on and was back in business.
