not as advertised: KVM Switches

I bought this for a multiple monitor setup as it claims to have edid so it shouldn't turn off the monitors when switching. Well, he turns off the monitors. That way, each time you switch, all of your windows will be rearranged. It also produces no output at all on my 1440p monitor.
