Been looking for an electronic lock for a long time. I've had experiences with both business and homeowner locks with mixed results. This lock had all the features I wanted at a reasonable price compared to others so I bought it. Strangely, the doorknob on my front door broke the day after I ordered this lock, so what's the perfect timing? Anyhow, overall installation was pretty easy. My front door needed some minor alterations to fit but nothing major. The instructions could have been MUCH clearer but they helped in most areas. What really disappointed me is that the inside handle is not lockable. Some would say it's not a big deal or more of a safety issue but I have a 2 year old who ALWAYS wants to be outside! At this point, she hasn't tried to escape, but it's definitely a concern. I suggest the company at least add the feature to enable the inside handle lock mode via the app. Yes, since there is no manual unlocking on the handle, this raises another problem, but at least a note should be added in the description that the inside handle is always unlocked on this lock so that customers at least know about this one. before you buy. If the above is not a problem for you then I would highly recommend this lock. The app works great, easy to set up, key cards work great too. My son was very excited when I asked him to put his fingerprint in the lock so HE can open the door himself. I even created code specifically for my family business owner so he can hop in and out as needed. Again great value for money. Durability will only be known with use and time.
