Works well but range is limited by line of sight
Units are well built and withstand drop damage well. Range is limited by terrain, buildings, etc.; it's just the science behind the device. In my area they worked for about 0.1 miles; Our roads aren't straight, so line of sight has been obstructed by buildings. I've been reading a bit more about FRS/GMRS radios and they are all very limited in line of sight. even the curvature of the earth affects the range. So I'm updating my previous review.
