I bought 3 different blenders because the one I got for my wedding broke 2 years ago. The first lasted a year and I replaced it with a similar brand that only lasted six months. I chose the kitchen helper because I liked the colors, although I was skeptical about the oddly shaped whisk. This hand mixer is the best I've ever owned. I made a few batches of cookies over the holidays and this thing burned the batter I had to mix by hand with each of my previous mixers. It also makes a very tasty puree.
