Review on Hayabusa Ikusa Charged Gloves Black by Gerald Hill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent glove with grip and support for a much more expensive glove

Excellent gloves. They provide so much wrist support that unbandaged gloves are better than most bandaged gloves. Perfect hand/thumb position AND allows you to really hit. Excellent padding and hand support. I read many complaints that it is impossible to get through to them. I didn't have that experience at all. A much more advanced harness system makes dressing different, but I wouldn't say it's much more difficult. My advice before putting on gloves is to undo the inner velcro just before you feel the rough part inside the glove. That way it can't get caught on your bandages if you put your hand inside. The strap is stretchy so you can easily slip your hand through it. Once your hand is inside, tighten it. I will say that like the others they run small, smaller than other Hayabusa gloves of comparable weight. I'm 5ft 8in, 158lbs and my arms are smaller and with bandages they fit snugly around me. FOR SMALL HANDS I GIVE THEM 10/10. If you have BIG HANDS, stay away.

Pros
  • All great!
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
