Review on πŸ”‹ Rayovac D Batteries, High Performance Ultra Pro Alkaline D Cell Batteries (Pack of 6) by Todd Casey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

More than half expired

I bought it on May 8, 2014 to use with a Coleman flashlight. As you can see it's been about 4 years and he's still working. I usually use a Coleman CPX 6 battery but I bought these Rayovac D batteries as a backup. Thank goodness I did that because we recently had a hurricane and the rechargeable cartridge died. I was concerned that those Rayovac D rackets were also dead as a few years had passed. Even though it has a 10-year durability guarantee, we never know! I don't use the flashlight for anything other than during a power outage. Last week I used batteries for the first time. Otherwise it just stays on the shelf. I'm just glad it worked when I needed it. ---------------------------------UPDATE April 26, 2020 It's time for another update. It's April 2020 and the batteries are still working! No corrosion or leaks either. It's been 6 years since I bought the batteries. I have about 4 years left, that's 2024. Is it too early to give 5 stars or should I wait longer?
