Great radio for the price. It's a little difficult to code, but Chirp supports it now. I programmed them for GMRS and we use them in the field. I used the earpiece in my helmet when riding a motorcycle or quad. We all enjoy staying in touch. I bought 6 of these radios and 2 of them came with bad chargers. The loading process is quite weak. I believe radios will outlive their chargers. Which worries me a bit. I also bought 2 battery rectifiers for them and 2 UHF/VHF antennas with a tram magnet mount. So that the boys in the cars can get out a little better. This radio would get 5 stars if all chargers worked. I always carry it in my gear, as do some of my family members. 73rd!
