These struts have fixed the problems I had with my trunk getting stuck. My trunk now raises and lowers flawlessly at the push of a button. It was so easy to install, all it took was a tiny flat head to remove the clamps on the old stands. Save and reuse the two square clips that connect the top of the C-pillars to the trunk lid. These clips need to be relocated. The other clips are already installed with the new rack assembly and snap into place when you push the ball and base together. Very simple work, can take 10 minutes max.
