Initially this DisplayPort1.2 hub worked fine with my ASUS GL551J laptop (used Mini DisplayPort1.2 connector). It supports DisplayPort 1.2, so monitors can be daisy chained. I used the hub to output video to 2 external monitors (ASUS VP278Q-P 27" monitors) 1) After half a month the device is running at 50 degrees Celsius (it was too hot until I left it on for a few minutes left) 2) DisplayPort1 hub last week 2 stopped working for right monitor but kept outputting video on second monitor 3) For 3 days left monitor not working with hub (both monitors are not working now with the hub).. Temperature change. I think as the monitors didn't fall out, but at the same time I'm leaning towards the DisplayPort hub rather than the software driver on my laptop. Do you have any recommendations as a seller? I have no way of getting a DisplayPort1. 2 hub. I've included images of Windows 10 settings where Windows can see monitors but monitors cannot be selected as display output. I've also included the Device Manager view. (Now I'll n monitors viewed at 640 x 480 instead of the normal monitor resolution). This image also has an Intel display driver.
