I don't know what some of the negative reviews mean but they made me skeptical about buying. Those who say "3 monitors are not supported" will only support what your graphics card supports. After reading some of the other reviews I was very cautious about the purchase. I just bought 4 Dell monitors with display ports and a new Dell I7 PC. Initially this DisplayPort1.2 hub worked fine with my ASUS GL551J laptop (used Mini DisplayPort1.2 connector). It supports DisplayPort 1.2, so monitors can be daisy chained.
