Overall this is a well thought out product. The adjustable mount works really well and if you can fit your phone in it, it distributes the weight really well so it doesn't feel too heavy. However, it has a downside. Designers did not consider phones with a hard shell. I use Moto G Power. It's not a super-thin phone, but it's not an inch-thick relic either. When you remove the protective cover from the phone, it fits normally into the holder. In one case, however, the phone is about an inch thick at its thickest point. The phone grip just isn't deep enough to hold the phone in the case. For a future iteration, I'd ask the manufacturer to simply make the grips deeper (which doesn't obstruct the view of the image) so the phones can be protected when using the mount.
