Ok so I didn't have very high expectations for this vacuum sealer but it turned out well, at least for me. Once you understand how to use it (I had to watch some YouTube videos from other brands), you'll see that it's very easy to use. I don't understand why they don't make a video tutorial to make things easier. The first product I tried to seal was fresh salmon and it didn't seal as expected. Now I've learned that you usually have to dry wet food in order for the machine to suck it up properly. When I tried the machine on cherry tomatoes, zucchini, or fresh meat, it worked absolutely perfectly, just like the ones that cost a lot more at Revain. Also, be generous with the space you leave after placing the food (about 3-4 inches) to allow the vacuum sealer to seal the food very well. At first I tried leaving less space and the sealing process didn't work out so well. Press "SEAL ONLY", then I put the food in, leaving about 4 inches of free space, put the open side of the bag in and press "NORMAL WAC" (be sure to alternate between dry/green before pressing and wet/red food to choose it). If you get it right, the machine should pump out all the air and seal the bag in 10-20 seconds. After the green light under "NORMAL VAC" goes out, you can take the bag and put it where you want. I hope you found this helpful! All in all, once you understand how to use it, you will enjoy the investment you have made.
