My Peloton started making a rattle that got worse. Peloton support told me the cranks needed to be aligned. The problem, however, was clearly that the bottom bracket was loose. The alignment mark on the mount no longer matched and the carriage could be rotated manually. Using the Park Tool BBT-18 and CCP-44C I was able to reinstall the bottom bracket and eliminate the rattle. I ended up having to do it a second time with a thread lock, but now it's no problem. I deducted a star because the CCP-44C's internal "race" suddenly appeared. I wish for more security. I didn't notice it when he first showed up. I found the insides on the floor and couldn't figure out where it came from. With some effort, he returns and the tool continues to function.
