Good, durable ceramic mug with a tight-fitting lid and a well-fired glaze. Comfortable to hold and large enough to hold a substantial amount of tea. Call me an English snob but I prefer the taste of tea and coffee in a ceramic mug to an insulated plastic/metal mug. As a result, on my morning commute, prior to purchasing this mug, fellow passengers spotted me driving through a downtown area with a large teacup balanced precariously on the dashboard. This drinking vessel is a good compromise between drinking from a regular mug or teacup and avoiding travel mugs, which compromise the taste (and contribute to overall transport safety by avoiding trips to the nearest combustion unit). Thumbs up.
