Review on Tamrac Stratus 15 Camera Bag by Amanda Spencer

I bought this Tamarac camera bag to replace my old bag I've had for over 10 years and I need a larger bag that will fit everything I need including a new one lens I bought last year. It arrived in brand new condition and at first I thought this bag was huge! I was really worried because I didn't expect it to be that big. I waited a few weeks to try it before leaving a review. He grew up on me and I really like it! The zippers are strong and don't bend when I zip up the edges and the bag is very strong and rigid to hold my gear. He does not sleep. Pros: I love the front pockets, which fold down to allow easy access to a variety of gear and accessories. I also like the 2 side "hidden" pockets behind the front pockets. I keep my memory cards and used batteries in the little pouches that come with it. Nice surprise to find her! The interior of the bag is roomy and I found that by removing a few dividers I could fit all of my gear inside. It also holds the body of my vertical grip DSLR well. Here's what I was able to slip into the main compartment: Canon 5d mrkiii with grip 70-200mm 85mm 1,424-70mm 50mm 17-35mm charger and cable color balance chart (card is small when folded) mrkii on the other hand without a lens. The only thing I didn't put there was my TTL flash, but I can attach it if needed. Wasn't a priority for this bag. Only downside: I couldn't fit my 15" MacBook Pro in a laptop bag, it was 1" larger. But I could get my iPad mini or I bet a regular iPad or a smaller MacBook. This is ideal for photographers who travel and don't want to take their laptop bag with them! Overall I like this bag. The price was great, free shipping and a little tax. I will get a lot out of this camera bag. Also, the strong and durable straps make my back lighter as it gets pretty heavy with all my gear!
